Arlene M. Anderson, age 89, passed away April 26, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Terri (Russell) Mosier and Donna (Ed) Martinez; cherished daughter of the late Helen and Robert Boal; dear grandmother of Scott (Angela) Stancy; great-grandmother of Shawn Stancy.
Arlene and her husband were inurned at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery
on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
ALLAN O. CORNING
Allan “Al” O. Corning, age 91, of Lombard, died on April 27, 2021, at home.
A Lombard resident for 61 years, Allan was an active member of the Faith United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir for many years.
Allan was the loving husband of the late Beatrice “Bea” Rose, née Schultz; loving father of Paul (Jolene) of Naperville, Robert (Nicole) of Prospect Heights, Cheryl (George) Robillard of Wisconsin and the late Steven; grandfather of seven; and great-grandfather of Blythe.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 30, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard IL. Private Interment.

ROBERT M. PHILLIPS
Robert Milton Phillips, age 80, of West Chicago, died April 26, 2021.
Robert was born April 10, 1941, in Chicago. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Cold War (1959-1961) and retired from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Robert was the loving partner of Clara May Halsall (née Anderson) for over 30 years. He passed away peacefully of Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia cancer of the blood.
Robert is survived by his brother, William (Janis) Phillips of Salinas, California. Their parents, Milton Lambert Phillips and Leone Phillips (née Walston) are both deceased. Robert enjoyed Clara May’s family as his own, including her sisters Mary Lou Nixon and Peggy (Bob) Smykowski, and her brother Bill Anderson, and all their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A Visitation was held on Sunday, May 2, at Brust Funeral Home, 1135 S. Main St., Lombard, IL. Private Interment.

VIRGINIA SCHLAGE
Virginia Schlage, age 89, passed away peacefully at Atria Park Assisted Living of Glen Ellyn on April 24, 2021. Virginia was previously a resident of Lombard since 1986.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 7 2021, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 900 N. Wolf Road, Northlake.
