Park Place of Elmhurst will be sharing Cinco de Mayo festivities from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, May 5, including traditional food favorites created by in-house Chef Tormey and the musical sounds of Cielito Lindo, a Mariachi band formed by the Lucero family. This event is open to the public by reservation only.

The Lucero family has performed for numerous large events, including WGN, Univision, Chicago Tonight, Bulls games, galas, and festivals. They recently aired on Nickelodeon as America’s Most Musical Family. Due to the pandemic, the Lucero family of 9 was hit very hard financially, so hard that they faced eviction due to the lack of work available to them all. A neighbor started a fundraiser and raised more than $60,000 from their community to help them. This incredible generosity kept them in their home and kept their music alive.

Space is limited, so contact Laurene Calabrese at (630) 936-4501 to make your reservation.
