Bicycle registration

The Villa Park Police Department and Villa Park’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) held a free bicycle registration event for village residents on Saturday, April 17, alongside the Illinois Prairie Path, near the Villa Park Historical Museum. Villa Park residents who attended the event registered their bicycles with the police department. The residents received a numbered village sticker for their bicycles. Community service officers from the police department recorded the serial number and took pictures of each bicycle. If a registered bike is ever lost and recovered, police will be able to identify it and return it to its owner. The Kooima family of Villa Park registered five bicycles at the event.
