Nashville coming to American Legion; Inaugural Nashville Songwriter Fundraiser coming Oct. 30

The Elmhurst American Legion THB Post #187 has announced that it will host the Inaugural 2020 Nashville Songwriter Fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 30 from 7-10 p.m. at the Post home at 310 W. Butterfield Rd. Face-covering masks and social distancing required.

According to the Legion, Nashville hit songwriters are coming for a special benefit filled with dozens of hit songs Nashville-style from the writers themselves. The evening’s special guests include Steve Bogard and Jason Sever, who have written songs performed by George Strait, Dustin Lynch, Dylan Scott, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allen, Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan and many others. Come out and hear the stories behind the songs.

Elmhurst resident State Representative Deanne Mazzochi will serve as special guest emcee for the evening. All funds raised will benefit the American Legion THB Post #187, which provides services for those in the active military as well as veterans.

Tickets are $125 for indoor seating, $75 for outdoor seating. Beer and wine included for minimum donation. Food and full bar available a la carte. Sponsorship opportunities are available as follows: Blue Sponsor, $500; Red Sponsor, $250; and, White, $100.
