Charles “Sid” Bergh, of Villa Park. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during World War II. Beloved husband of the late Mary “Billie” and Anne. Loving father of Lynn (Bob) Borge, Karen (Michael) Marnell, Sue (Bob) Joorfetz, the late James, John, Clifford, Douglas and Gregory. Cherished grandfather of Erika (Roman Cardoza) Lofgren, David (PimNara) Lofgren, Nathan (Carlyn Green) Bergh, Nicole (Tyler Gabel) Borge, Lisa (Michael) Schmid, Erica Borge, Michael (Liz) Marnell and Matthew Marnell. Great grandfather of Alex, Ayanna, Lukas, Isabella, Amanda, Sean, Mikey and Gregory. Fond brother of the late John (Opal) Foster. Uncle and great uncle of many.
Visitation on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 3-8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park. Additional visitation on Friday, Oct. 23, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 547 N. Main Street, Lombard. HELEN LUCILLE EDWARDS
Helen Lucille Edwards, nee Copple, age 93, of Lombard, died October 24, 2020, at Elmhurst Hospital.
Helen was the beloved wife of George Robert Edwards and daughter of the late James Ray and Ruby Copple, nee Bates.
Helen had been a resident of Lombard for 70 years. She was born in Centralia, Illinois.
Helen was the librarian at Glenbard East High School and the first librarian at College of DuPage. She went to Rosary College where she received her master’s in library science. She received her bachelor’s degree at Illinois State University.

Joseph W. Rieger, age 85, of Lombard, passed away October 23, 2020.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Mary P., nee Baker; loving father of Joseph M., Kristi (Joseph) Hammer, Joni (Douglas) Ruhs and the late Barbara (Robert) Kerbs; cherished grandfather of 17; great-grandfather of 9; dearest brother of Marjo (Carmen) Angelo, the late Lawrence (Cindy) and the late Carolee (James) Maher; uncle and great-uncle of many.
