Lois Mae Smith, a lifelong resident of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020, at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond B. Smith (2019); loving mother of Patty (Greg) Newlin, Ray (Denise), Barb (Wayne) Gunderson, Bob (Sheryl) and Bill (Audrey); cherished grandmother of Jason, Kristy, Julie, Robin, Kelly, Jamie, Kyle and Danny; great-grandmother of 15; great-great-grandmother of 2; dear daughter of the late Otto and Freida Boldebuck.
All services and interment at Mt. Emblem Cemetery will be private. Arrangements provided by Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – The Ahlgrim Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Memorials will be appreciated for St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 125 W. Church Street, Elmhurst. Info: 630-834-3515.
