As of 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, there were 16,757 total cases among DuPage County residents, including 549 deaths. Since Sunday, there were 98 new cases and NO deaths related to COVID-19 reported.

At press time, the DuPage Department of Health reported the following number of COVID-19 cases in our readership communities as follows: Addison 1,210, Bensenville 714, Elmhurst 812, Lombard 811, Oakbrook Terrace 54, Villa Park 478, Wood Dale 356.
And now for the REALLY good news …
Since March 24, 546 patients have been discharged from Elmhurst Hospital following treatment for confirmed cases of COVID-19.
