James E. Murphy, of Lombard, passed away recently at the age of 76.
A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, Aug 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 1025 E. Madison, Lombard, with entombment of cremains at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

BLANCHE IRENE PETTIT
Blanche Irene (Bartell) Pettit, 94, died of natural causes July 29, 2020, at Beacon Hill in Lombard. Born in Starke County, Indiana, on June 4, 1926, her parents were Earl and Kate Bartell.
Blanche was married to George Wesley Pettit in Maywood, Illinois, on August 23, 1947.
She is survived by four sons and their wives, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Cremation rites will be accorded. She is to be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, next to her husband, George.
A memorial will be organized at a later date.
