As of 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, there were 13,871 total cases among DuPage County residents, including 529 deaths. Since Sunday, there were 106 new cases and NO deaths related to COVID-19.

At press time, the DuPage Department of Health reported the following number of COVID-19 cases in our readership communities as follows: Addison 1,057, Bensenville 650, Elmhurst 636, Lombard 678, Oakbrook Terrace 41, Villa Park 414, Wood Dale 291.
And now for the REALLY good news – a milestone of 500+ discharged…
Since March 24, 504 patients have been discharged from Elmhurst Hospital following treatment for confirmed cases of COVID-19.
