Lombard’s St. Pius X School’s recent celebration of Catholic Schools Week included Crazy Hat and Sock Day on Jan. 30. The week’s special events at the school also included the Wheel of Wisdom—a trivia game for students. Friday, Jan. 31, was Break the Rules Day; students could break a number of rules for the day, like chewing gum, wearing their shirts untucked or wearing items they cannot normally wear. Students paid one dollar to break a rule. The money raised is being donated to help wildlife affected by the catastrophic bushfires in Australia.
