Shirley Jean Hubbard, nee Barber, age 95, of Lombard.
Beloved wife of Donald Hubbard for 71 years; loving mother of Gail (Wayne) Snider; devoted grandmother of Rachel (Scott) Bledsoe, Esther Snider (fiancé Steven St. Arnold), Katherine (Thomas) Stevens, and Danielle (Steve) Rose; great-grandmother of Michaela Snider, Brianna and Dylan Bledsoe, Samuel and Michelle Noel, Shaney and Elijah Harlan, and Sabastian, Madison, and Ashton Stevens; fond sister of the late Donald John (the late Phyllis) Barber. Faithful follower of Christ all her days and always proud of her family.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 4, at Parkview Community Church, 764 St Charles Road, Glen Ellyn. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst.

ELLY I. NEUFELD
Elly Ida Neufeld, nee Egert, age 94, of Lombard, passed away November 16, 2019.
Visitation will be held Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, with Mrs. Neufeld lying in state from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln St., Lombard. Interment will be private.
Elly is survived by her beloved sons, Carl Robert Neufeld of Dallas, Texas, and Hans Christian Neufeld of Lombard; her cherished grandchildren, Katrina and Nathan; her loving siblings, Arnold Egert of Hambuhren, Germany, and Herta Egert of Hannover, Germany; many nieces and nephews in Germany and Estonia; and her dear cousin, Alfred Egert of Canada.
Elly was born in Latvia and became a resident of Lombard in 1957. She was a past member of the Elmhurst Damenchor when her sons were young, now known as the Elmhurst Harmonie. Elly was a tennis mom for many of the college players her sons coached.
