The Timothy Christian boys track team had a pair of entrants in Danardo Jones and freshman Jake Postma at the recent Class 1A state boys track and field meet at Eastern Illinois University.
Jones finished fifth in the state in the triple jump with a leap of 44-5.
Jones took third in his preliminary flight of the triple jump with a mark of 44-1 1/2 and qualified for the finals.
Postma was seventh in his preliminary heat of the 110 high hurdles with a time of 16.29 and did not advance to the finals.
