Our nation’s service men and women who gave their lives for their country will be remembered during the Village of Lombard’s Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 27. The whole community is invited to attend the observance, which will begin at 10 a.m. (new time) at the Veterans Memorial in the Sunken Garden in Lombard Common near Grace and Maple streets. Lombard Veterans of Foreign Wars Lilac Post 5815 Commander Tom Zilla (top photo) will be the featured speaker at the observance.
