The York girls basketball team opened postseason play earlier this week. The Dukes played either Elk Grove or West Chicago earlier this week in the regional semifinals at home.
If York won that semifinal game, it will play either Hoffman Estates, Glenbard North or No. 4 sectional seed Wheaton-Warrenville South for the Class 4A York regional title tonight at 7 p.m., for a chance to advance to the Class 4A Batavia sectional. York is the No. 8 seed in the Batavia field.
