The Villa Park Parks and Recreation Department’s Discover Dance program held its annual recital—“The Greatest Show”—on Saturday, February 23, in the auditorium at Willowbrook High School. About 150 girls between the ages of 3 and 15 take part in the Discover Dance program. The girls have been practicing at the Iowa Community Center Monday through Thursday since September. The dancers held a dress rehearsal at Willowbrook on Friday. Saturday’s presentation featured 22 different numbers, including one with several of the participants’ fathers on the stage with their daughters. The dancers during last Saturday’s presentation included Lily Weder (bottom, middle), Angelica Delgado (top, right) and Katelyn Bussert (bottom, right).
