The Willowbrook boys basketball team played its final home game of the 2018-19 season last Friday night. In addition to recognizing the seniors on the basketball team before the tipoff, the school honored the senior members of its cheerleading and pom/dance teams. Willowbrook’s senior cheerleaders (top photo, pictured left to right) are: Faith Johnkin, Olivia Pickerill, Jameah Adams, Jasmyn White, Lily Jacobsen, Samantha Yacono, Jordyn Pasquale and Lilli Glasener. The seniors on the pom/dance team (second photo from top, left to right) are: Kristy Holloway, Samantha Corso, Kaylee McEllin, Hope Rickord and Claryce Dooley. Willowbrook’s boisterous student section, whose members wore orange to the game, added to the Senior Night atmosphere. One photo shows senior Joey Guthrie (wearing the Mitch Trubisky–No. 10 jersey) leading the students in a cheer. Another photo shows Guthrie and his fellow students reacting to a dunk by junior Everett Stubblefield late in the third quarter.
