Richard H. Burns, passed away recently at the age of 87. He was a veteran of U.S. Navy who served in the Korea War; former resident of Elmhurst for more than 30 years. Beloved husband of Joan, loving father of Terry Burns, Lisa (Mark) Spohn and Bruce (Jamie) Burns; proud grandfather of Joshua, Kassidi and the late Marlee Spohn and Jack & Drew Burns; dear brother of Rita (the late Kenny) Verdun, the late Robert (the late Cathy) Burns and the late Howard Jr. (the late Caren) Burns; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service was held at the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst on Monday, January 28, 2019.
