The Village of Lombard will host its Heartland Blood Centers winter blood drive on Wednesday, Jan. 16. It will be the first of five blood drives to be hosted by the village this year. Pictured are some the people who helped make last year’s drives successful. The gift of life can be donated at Yorktown Center at Heartland Blood Centers’ mobile coach (parked outside entrance #5, between Von Maur and The Eatery) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then at the Lombard Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson, from 1:30 to 7 p.m.
