Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
Addison
Dec. 11
Police said officers responded to a report of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in the 300 block of Park Avenue at around 9:20 a.m. After further investigation, an arrest warrant was signed for Jose L. Rodriguez, 66, of Addison, and served for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Dec. 9
Police said officers responded to the Bensenville Police Department and transported Carmelo Larumbe-Cosio, 42, of Bensenville, to the Addison Police Department where he was processed for an original warrant for violation of order of protection at around 8:35 p.m.

Oscar Diaz, 49, of Northlake, was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident subsequent to a traffic accident investigation near Highview and Lake at around 5:52 p.m.
Christian M. Fonseca, 24, of Carol Stream, was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident subsequent to a traffic accident investigation near Collins and Ari at around 3:32 a.m.
A 37-year-old Des Plaines man was charged with domestic battery in the 100 block of E. Lorraine at around 11:49 p.m. Police said the suspect struck a victim in the face multiple times.

John R. Beutler, 27, of Carol Stream, was charged with DUI subsequent to a traffic complaint investigation in the 1700 block of W. Lake at around 10:35 p.m.
David Cortez-Galeana, 41, of Addison, was charged with violation of an order of protection subsequent to a domestic disturbance investigation in the 900 block of N. Rohlwing at around 7:40 p.m.
Jairon Martinez, 30, of Chicago, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended and failure to yield turning left subsequent to a traffic accident investigation near Lake and Maple at around 9:01 p.m.
Nov. 28
Jose Martinez, 24, of Elgin, was charged with driving under the influence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance subsequent to a call for a well-being check near Belmont and Wood Dale at around 10:35 p.m.
Villa Park
Dec. 8
Theft was reported at a store at around 5:11 p.m. Police said unknown suspects stole an iPhone that was left unattended on a counter.
Dec. 7
Marisa R. Gatz, 23, of Lombard, was issued a local adjunction for retail theft at a store at around 9:10 p.m.
A 32-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery, interfering with reporting of domestic violence and criminal damage to property in the 700 block of W. North at around 7:37 a.m.
A female juvenile from Villa Park was charged with resisting a police officer and possession of cannabis at Willowbrook High School at around 8:22 a.m.

Guadalupe Alvarez, 39, of Villa Park, was charged with assault in the 200 block of W. Roosevelt at around 10:56 p.m.
A male juvenile from Villa Park was issued a local adjunction for possession of cannabis at Willowbrook High School at around 10:01 a.m.
Dec. 5
Michael R. Evans, 32, of West Chicago, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, leaving the scene of a property damage accident over $1,500, failure to give aid or information, failure to report an accident to police and driving while license revoked near North and Villa April 3. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued Dec. 5.
Dec. 4
Ricardo Vega, 30, of Villa Park, was charged with violation of bail bond in the 500 block of N. Ardmore Feb. 21. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued Dec. 4.
A 41-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery in the 200 block of N. Bierman at around 6:39 p.m.
Police said an unknown suspect slashed a tire and scratched the door of a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 400 block of N. Fulton sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 12:37 p.m. Dec. 4.
Nov. 29-Dec. 4
Police said unknown suspects damaged two vehicles in a parking lot in the 1600 block of N. Michigan sometime between the above dates.
Dec. 3
Rocco Bovini, 44, of Arlington Heights, was charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding and reckless driving near North and Ardmore at around 11:15 p.m.
David W. Nelson, 32, of Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the 300 block of E. St. Charles Aug. 19. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued Dec. 3.

Ciera S. McKinney, 21, of Maywood, was charged with retail theft at a store in the 100 block of Roosevelt at around 7:33 p.m.
