On Sunday, Nov. 11, the community is invited to the annual Veterans Day Ceremony to be held at the Elmhurst Veterans Memorial in Wilder Park just south of the Mansion. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a pause at “the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month,” signifying the end of World War I.
The program will include patriotic music, ceremonies to remember the fallen and a reading of those veterans we have lost in the past year. Free and open to the public.
