The York girls swimming team quadrupled its pleasure at the recent Hawk Relays hosted by Maine South.
The Dukes finished second as a team with 108 points, eight behind host and champion Maine South (116).
York won the 200 medley relay title with a time of 1:55.98 with Amanda Polach, Nicole Bednarik, Nicole Demare and Delaney Tase.
The Dukes were fifth in the frosh-soph 200 medley relay with a time of 2:12.82. That team featured Sophia Locascio, Gabrielle Honken, Alyssa Rivera and Grace Walker.
York was fifth in the 200 butterfly relay in 2:07.57 with Natalie Rinchiuso, Rivera, Madison Sardo and Demare.
The Dukes won the 200 backstroke relay at the varsity level in 1:59.28 with Samantha Harrington, Walker, Claire Pfaff and Polach.
York finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke relay with a time of 2:22.78. That team included Honken, Sardo, Tase and Bednarik.
The Dukes took second in the 500 crescendo frosh-soph relay with a time of 5:19.98 with Locascio, Rivera, Julia Beltran and Pfaff.
York was second in the varsity 850 crescendo with a time of 9:16.80. That team included Gabi Knott, Emma Radcliff, Polach and Tase.
York was fifth in the 400 4-by-100 IM relay in 4:38.51 with Demare, Rinchiuso, Beltran and Bednarik.
The Dukes were second in the 200 frosh-soph relay with a time of 1:49.86. That team included Pfaff, Walker, Sardo and Beltran.
In the 200 varsity relay, York was second in 1:45.43 with Demare, Tase, Polach and Bednarik.
York was third in the 400 medley relay in 4:33.60 with Harrington, Honken, Rinchiuso and Knott.
The Dukes also took second in the 400 frosh-soph relay in 4:01.53 with Pfaff, Walker, Sardo and Beltran.
York was fifth in the 400 varsity relay in 4:09.92 with Harrington, Rinchiuso, Knott and Radcliff.
Earlier, York lost 116.5-69.5 to Hinsdale Central in West Suburban Conference Silver Division play. York lost 124-54 in the JV meet and 149-34 in the frosh-soph meet.
York won the 200 medley relay at the JV level in 2:11.81 with Locascio, Honken, Sardo and Knott. York also won the 200 medley relay at the varsity level in 1:56.69 with Polach, Bednarik, Demare and Tase.
Locascio was second in the 200 JV race with a time of 2:20.61. Polach won the 200 at the varsity level in 2:01.47.
Sardo was second in the 200 IM at the JV level with a time of 2:37.59. Bednarik was second in the 200 IM at the varsity level in 2:20.01.
Knott won the 50 free JV race in 27.88. Tase was second in the 50 varsity race at 25.89.
Leah Simonds was second in the diving competition at the frosh-soph level with 142.25 points.
Birgette Kammerdiener won the varsity diving with a score of 209.55, beating Hinsdale Central’s Leah Stevens, who finished with 205.60 points.
Demare won the butterfly varsity race in 1:03.81. Knott won the 100 JV race in 1:00.56.
Pfaff was second in the 100 varsity race in 58.93. Tase took second in the 500 varsity race in 5:37.74.
York was second in the 200 JV relay with a time of 1:58.60 with Hannah Lonergan, Honken, Locascio and Sardo. York also was second in the varsity 200 relay in 1:44.27 with Polach, Pfaff, Tase and Bednarik.
Grace Garvey was second in the 100 JV backstroke with a time of 1:18.32. Polach won the 100 backstroke varsity race in 1:01.45.
Honken won the breaststroke JV race with a time of 1:21.92. Bednarik was second in the varsity breaststroke with a time of 1:13.16.
