The Timothy Christian boys golf team finished seventh at the recent Class 1A Walther Christian regional held at White Pines in Bensenville. The Trojans had a 393 team score.
Timothy sophomore Kyle Mahler did advance to sectionals as an individual. He shot a 91 and finished sixth among the individual sectional qualifiers. He played in the Class 1A Oregon sectional earlier this week.
The Trojans also took third at the annual Elmhurst Classic, hosted this year by Timothy at Oak Brook. Timothy finished with a 7-over-par 115 score in the two-man, three-team scramble format.
