The York girls golf team won a pair of recent West Suburban Conference contests. In a victory over Oak Park-River Forest at Oak Brook, Haley Borchardt and Elle Borchardt tied for team medalist honors at 45 each. Audrey Matias had a 46, while Bella Bartolone shot 47.
York’s junior-varsity also defeated Oak Park-River Forest at Sugar Creek in Villa Park. Camille Steahly was the meet medalist with a 43. Nora Foley shot 46, while Julia Filosa and Cookie Klinger each shot 51.
York also downed Addison Trail at Salt Creek in WSC play. Filosa was the meet medalist with a 39. Bartolone shot 41, while Matias shot 42 and Cassie Sika had a 43.
In York’s JV win over Addison Trail at Salt Creek, Lauren Keith was the meet medalist with a 39. Steahly shot 41, while Jenna Hughes had a 43. Macy Fries finished with a 48.
York also hosted its JV invitational at Sugar Creek. The Dukes were second out of 11 teams. Elle Borchardt finished with a 90 and took sixth place overall. Foley shot 92, while Keith had a 91 and Filosa had a 94.
