The League of Women Voters of Elmhurst will host a Candidate Forum on Sunday, Sept, 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York St., Elmhurst.
Candidates for the November 6, 2018 General Election have been invited. After answering some League questions, the candidates will be asked to answer questions submitted in writing from those who are in attendance.
This program is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend the whole event or individual pieces. An estimate of each group’s time frame follows:
1 p.m. statements from Circuit Court Judicial Candidates
1:30– 2:15 p.m. 5th Congressional District Candidates
2:30– 3:15 p.m. 47th Legislative District Candidates
3:30–4:30 p.m. DuPage County Board District 1 & 2 Candidates
4:30–5 p.m. Candidates whose opponents did not respond to invitation will be able to speak briefly.
