The Village of Villa Park is gearing up for this year’s Summerfest, which will take place Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 in the Ardmore Business District at Ardmore and Park Blvd. next to the Illinois Prairie Path.
Friday will be “date night” when the Fest opens. From 6 to 11 p.m. enjoy a car show, food vendors, live bands, a bags tournament and a beer tent.
Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. will feature live bands, food vendors, beer tent and kids activities. Community groups, local vendors and an arts and crafts show will also be part of Summerfest on Saturday. A $10 all-day wristband includes the children’s attractions and games. Individual tickets are also available. A kids stage on Saturday will feature balloon creations, a magic show and a reptile show.
