On Wednesday, May 23, at approximately 3:36 p.m., the Elmhurst Police Department responded to Churchville Middle School, located at 155 Victory Parkway for a reported suspicious person. Upon the arrival of police, officers learned a 12-year-old female reported that while outside of the school shortly after dismissal, a male/Hispanic asked her if she needed a ride. The suspect was approximately 35-40 years old, with short dark hair and a mustache, driving a Black Toyota Sienna minivan. The Toyota Sienna was parked in the pick-up lane of the school. The subject started to exit the vehicle and the female immediately ran away from the area. The area was checked by police, but the vehicle could not be located.
