The IC Catholic Prep girls soccer team lost 7-1 to Winnetka North Shore Country Day in the Class 1A Concordia University supersectional in River Forest. North Shore Country Day ended up finishing second in the state.
IC Catholic Prep wound up as one of the top eight teams in the state in Class 1A. It was the second year in a row the team reached at last the final round of eight in the state. The 2017 team finished fourth in the state. It was the Knights’ fifth supersectional appearance since 2008.
