Addison and Villa Park Police Reports

Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

Addison

March 31

Ramon Sanchez, 25, of Addison, was charged with retail theft at a store in the 1000 block of N. Rohlwing Road at around 12:42 p.m.

Villa Park

March 31

Stephanie M. Lacy, 49, of Des Plaines, was charged with retail theft at a store at around 8:33 p.m.

March 30

An 18-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery in the 1600 block of Ovaltine Court at around 1:33 p.m.

A 48-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence in the 300 block of N. Ardmore at around 12:41 p.m.

March 29

Patrick G. Fitzmaurice, 30, of Villa Park, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 1-100 block of W. School at around 10:53 p.m.

James T. O’Connor, 57, of Elmhurst, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance near St. Charles and Monterey at around 8:46 p.m.

A 43-year-old Villa Park woman was charged with domestic battery in the 400 block of N. Beverly at around 3:34 a.m.

March 28

Francisco V. Somers, 26, of Villa Park, was charged with violation of an order of protection in the 600 block of S. Riverside at around 11:19 a.m.

March 27-March 28

Criminal damage was reported in the 100 block of E. Kenilworth. Police said that between 11:59 a.m. March 27 and 1:30 p.m. March 28, unknown suspects damaged an outdoor holiday projector which was staked into the front yard.

March 27

Rolando B. Lopez, 19, of Villa Park, was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia near St. Charles and Westmore at around 12:59 a.m.

March 26

A 35-year-old Villa Park man was charged with two counts of domestic battery in the 700 block of N. Lincoln at around 4:20 p.m.

March 25-March 26

Burglary was reported in the 1300 block of S. Villa. Police said that between 6 p.m. March 25 and 9 a.m. March 26, an unknown suspect broke into a residential construction site and stole copper piping and two window screens, and damaged a back door window.

March 25

Dylan P. Scales, 23, of Danville, Ill., was charged with criminal damage to property in the 1-100 block of W. Roosevelt at around 8:31 p.m.

March 24-March 26

Solomon L. Moss, 23, of Villa Park, was charged with possession of cannabis over 100 grams in the 300 block of E. Schiller between 1 p.m. March 24 and 12:15 a.m. March 26.

March 24-March 25

Retail theft was reported at a store. Police said that between 1:58 p.m. March 24 and 3:25 p.m. March 25, an unknown male suspect removed several containers of baby formula from the display shelf and left the store with the items without paying.

March 24

A 21-year-old Bellwood man was charged with two counts of domestic battery and resisting a police officer in the 200 block of W. Roosevelt at around 6:56 a.m.

March 23

Spencer D. Sullivan, 26, of Villa Park, was charged with possession of cannabis in the 600 block of N. Addison at around 6:14 p.m.

Pinkal Patel, 27, of Addison, was issued a citation for unlawful sale of tobacco at One Stop Convenience, 344 N. Ardmore.
