Pending official approval from Elmhurst City Council, Elmhurst City Centre has submitted a list of dates of its coming events over the remainder of 2018:

There will also be ongoing art displays on a rotating schedule year-round.
The Public Art Display program will continue with the “City Centre Blocks” sculptures at selected sidewalk locations. The sites are identified with the assistance of the Public Works Department.
The Landscape Art Display, initiated three years ago, involves the placement of metal and/or wood sculptures on the southwest corner of City Centre Plaza and in a number of the concrete planters throughout downtown.
The Block to Block Party music series scheduled for Wednesday evenings in June and July will take place at two locations: City Centre Plaza and the new Elmhurst 255 complex. Musicians will perform from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Street closings for events
On Bootiful Saturday, Oct. 27, police will close York Street from First to Second from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 1, for the Hometown Holiday Block Party, Schiller Street will be closed from Commerce Parkway to York St. from 2 to 9 p.m.
