Addison and Villa Park Police Reports

Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.

 

Addison

Feb. 8

Police said an officer responded to the Cook County Jail to transport Daquaan Wallace, 22, of Chicago, for processing at the Addison Police Department on an original warrant out of the Addison Police Department for forgery.

 

Feb. 5

Police said Samantha C. Erdman, 27, of Bartlett, had a failure to appear warrant out of the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department for criminal trespass to residence subsequent to a call for motorist assistance near Lake and I-355 at around 5:33 p.m.

 

Christopher L. Gibson, 30, of Montgomery, was charged with DUI and no headlights when required near Swift and Army Trail at around 9:59 p.m.

 

Villa Park

Feb. 3

Salvador Cervantes-Arriola, 19, of Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol, driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with suspended registration for no insurance near St. Charles and Ardmore at around 11:15 p.m.

Sabrina M. Diaz, 30, of Wood Dale, was charged with DUI and disobeying a stop sign near Elm and Addison at around 1:59 a.m.

Colton M. Malinowski, 18, of Elmhurst, was issued a citation for possession of cannabis near Ardmore and School at around 3:42 p.m.

Connie T. Mazur, 46, of Lombard, was charged with retail theft at a store at around 1:51 p.m.

 

Feb. 2

Jose Alvarado-Gonzalez, 32, of Lisle, was charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol, driving while license suspended, driving while using an electronic communication device and no insurance near North and Villa at around 11:35 p.m.

Sydney Rudman, 21, of Lombard, was charged with DUI, improper parking on a roadway and no insurance near Roosevelt and Summit at around 12:25 a.m.

 

Jan. 28-Feb. 1

Burglary to a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of W. Roosevelt. Police said an unknown suspect stole a Western Plow Controller and a Buyers Salt Dog Salter Controller from a vehicle between the above dates after it had been serviced.

 

Jan. 21-Jan. 27

Burglary was reported in the 300 block of S. Illinois between the above dates. Police said an unknown suspect removed a checkers table from the bed of a pickup truck parked in the driveway.

 

Jan. 31

Criminal damage was reported in the 200 block of E. Vermont between 7:30 and 8:35 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect broke the rear window of a vehicle parked unoccupied in the driveway of a residence.

 

Jan. 30

Michael C. Harden, 28, of Palos Heights, was charged battery and criminal damage to property at a motel at around 5:25 p.m.

Charmaine D. Hunt, 26, 26, of Glendale Heights, was charged with two counts of aggravated fleeing and eluding, obstructing identification and driving while license revoked in the 100 block of W. North at around 1:54 p.m. Nov. 27, 2017. The original complaint and arrest warrant were issued Jan. 30.

 

Jan. 28

Jesus Munoz, 30, of Villa Park, was charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information, failure to report an accident to police and use of an electronic communication device in the 200 block of N. Yale at around 12:33 a.m.

Criminal damage was reported in the 700 block of N. Addison at around 5:16 p.m. Police said an unknown male suspect struck the exterior glass of the entrance door to a business, causing damage to the glass and the frame of a window.

 

Jan. 20

Theft was reported in the 200 block of W. North at around 5 p.m. A complainant told police that an unknown suspect stole her wallet what she was shopping at Forman Mills. The complainant later found her debit card had been used.
