Pasquale “Pat” Mancini, 84

Pasquale “Pat” Mancini, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84. Born in Pizzone, Italy on June 16, 1933, he immigrated to Chicago at the age of 16. He worked hard to establish himself as an innovative tool and die maker in the Research and Development department at Lucent Technologies.  Pasquale Mancini is survived by his loving wife, Rita, his three children, Joseph, Marisa (Scott Levin), and Angela (Aaron Jackson), and his grandchildren, Phillip, Max, Mia, Julia, Joseph, Michael, William, and Ava. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Chapel, 450 West Lake Street, Roselle. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at Salerno’s Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Phillip the Apostle Church, 1223 W. Holtz Ave., Addison, followed by internment at All Saints Mausoleum, 106 N. River Rd., Des Plaines.
