Kids with special needs along with their families are invited to a special holiday celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 3:30-8 p.m. at Wilder Mansion, 211 S. Prospect Ave.
Celebrate the holidays with Special Kids Day at a free annual party for children (of all ages!) with disabilities and their families in an environment planned for the unique needs of special kids. Face painting, balloon sculpting, arts & craft projects, a LEGO® room, live music, storytelling, homemade cookies, and even a quiet room all add up to make a fantastically memorable celebration. Plenty of parking, and reservations are not required, so come when it best fits your family’s schedule. Every child goes home with a keepsake photograph with Santa and a gift bag. Visit specialkidsday.org; e-mail rich@or [email protected] for more information. Special Kids Day is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, operated and run by volunteers.
