Free August summer concert series
Villa Park Recreation is presenting a free August summer concert series at Cortesi Veterans Memorial Park, 320 E. Kenilworth in Villa Park. Bring your blanket, lawn chairs and appetites to these family-friendly concerts. Concessions will be available at 6 p.m.; concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. The series kicks off with the C.J. Stanley Band on August 3. The group blends Southern Rock with Texas blues.

Free movies in the park program this summer.
Bring a lawn chair, picnic and the family to enjoy a movie outdoors on the big screen at Cortesi Veterans Memorial Park, 320 E. Kenilworth. Movies will start at 8:15 p.m. on Monday’s August 7 and 14.
This event is co-sponsored by the Recreation Department and the Villa Park Library. Concessions will be available for purchase. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be cancelled.
