T
he 14U Elmhurst Emeralds softball team took second place at the Mokena Tournament recently. The local girls went 5-1 and made it to its 3rd championship game in its last 4 tournaments. After going undefeated in pool play the Emeralds beat Mokena 12-0 and Minooka 9-4 in bracket play. The crew fell a bit short in the championship game against the host Mokena Blast 9-4.
