The Hinsdale-based West Suburban Symphony under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Peter Lipari, perform classic rock music at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Avenue, Naperville.
The concert features epic classics from the Beatles, Beach Boys, Eagles, Doors, Who, and artists including Jim Croce, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, and Gloria Estefan. “This concert is definitely a blast from the past,” says Symphony President Richard Lukes, “It’s the perfect way to chill on a summer afternoon!”
Lipari, who has led orchestras, bands, choruses, and musical stage productions in the United States and abroad to rave reviews for more than 20 years, has served as the Society’s music director since 2001.
