Area police departments recently reported the following arrests and citations. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a conviction, and that subjects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
Addison
April 6
Police said Dorian Sobus, 25, of Addison, had a failure to appear warrant out of the Cook County Sheriff’s Department for retail theft.
April 4
• Police said Diana C. Clark, 29, of Chicago, had an original warrant out of the Addison Police Department for retail theft, and a failure to appear warrant out of the Orland Park Police Department for a traffic violation.
• Rodrigo Gomez, 21, of Addison and Angel Hernandez, 21, of Schaumburg, were charged with unlawful contact with a street gang member in the 1-100 block of W. Michael Lane at around 8:23 p.m.
March 31
Remando Stevens, 48, of Chicago, was charged with hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield and driving while license suspended in the 400 block of N. Swift Road at around 6:40 p.m.
There were no police reports from Villa Park Police Department this week.
