Robert “Bob” P. Nowak, passed peacefully to his heavenly home on February 2, 2017, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 53 years to Nancy (nee Surdell); Dear son of the late Alex and Lottie Nowak; Proud dad of Paul (Denise), Don (Melinda), Jim (Barb); Loving grandpa of Brett, Tyler, Nick, Bella, Abby; dearest Brother of Joann (Jerry) Baraksa, Ken (Pat) Nowak; Uncle of Dan (Ann); fond brother-in-law of Alice Surdell; favorite pet and canine companion “Lady.” He was employed 30-plus years as Director of Manufacturing at Zenith Rauland Electrical Corp and seven years at Howard Hyundai. Former Little League coach of Elmhurst North and avid sports fan of Da Bears, Go Hawks and White Sox. Memorial visitation Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo, 145 E. Grand Ave., Bensenville, from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society and American Lung Assn. would be appreciated.
