York girls gymnastics team participates in ’10 for 10′ campaign
Local Holiday Gift Mart benefits from gymnast’s efforts.

The York girls gymnastics team recently participated in the “10 for 10” campaign for a local Holiday Gift Mart.
Under the leadership of team captains Justine O’Leary and Anilu Rios, York gymnasts collected and donated more than 100 gifts for needy families. In addition, they made 50 ornaments to be handed out at the Gift Mart sponsored by Mission Church.
“the girls liked this particular organization because they don’t just give gifts to needy families,” said York coach Tammy Henderson. “Instead, a Holiday Mart is set up where parents can come in and choose their own present for their child and buy it for just a few dollars instead of at retail prices. As a coach I was very touched not only by their generosity, but by the empathy and concern that many of them had for families that have such need.”
