Louise Idaszak, nee Baschieri, a resident of Elmhurst for more than 50 years, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Joe; loving mother of Joe (Clare) and Marty (Andrea); devoted grandmother of Kristin and Joe. Sister of Jack Baschieri. Sister-in-law of Rose and Jerry (Geri). Fond aunt of Debby and Gia, Alex and Josh.
Born on July 7, 1932, Louise was raised in Chicago. After graduating from Notre Dame School for Girls, she worked in the accounting department for Peter Hand Brewery. She married Joe 60 years ago. After several years, she stayed at home to raise Joe and Marty. Louise was a member of Visitation Church in Elmhurst. She was a member of the Elmhurst YMCA for 20 years and a great swimmer. She loved going to the movies and the Lyric Opera with Joe. They vacationed together every year, somewhere in the U.S. and abroad. She was especially kind to people both emotionally and financially. She had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
