Robert Kevin Callahan, native of Chicago, currently of Elmhurst; died peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 66; beloved husband of Linda, nee Mangieri; loving father of Kevin (Caroline) Callahan, Lawrence Knott and Mary Ann Knott; cherished grandfather of Dominick, George and Cara Rose; dear brother of Kathleen (Harvey) Guion, Donna (Marty) Fitzgerald, Bill (Valerie) Callahan and the late James Callahan; adoring nephew of Mary Falbo and Carmella Ammond; fond uncle and cousin of many. Bob completed his distinguished career serving as Vice President, Executive Director Sales-Marketing-Business Development North America-South America-Europe for Senqcia Maxco. His natural curiosity to learn about the countries where he did business was exceeded only by his warmth and the close personal connections he made with the people he met. Bob was always willing to mentor, teach, coach– old or young, professional or personal– he was available. Bob loved all sports, tending his garden and welcoming all to his backyard sanctuary. A celebration of Bob’s life is being planned for later this year when friends and family can gather together safely.
