Interment Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

MARGARET “PEGGY” E. LOFTUS
Margaret “Peggy” E. Loftus, of Villa Park, passed away recently at the age of 79. Loving mother of David (Christina) Loftus, Kelly Simms, Dennis Loftus, Bridget Campuzano, Daniel (Kristen) Loftus; cherished grandmother of Kayla Mousser, Monica Loftus, Justin Campuzano, Bethany Loftus, Patrick Campuzano, Tyler Simms, Ruby Campuzano, Cory Simms, Hannah Loftus, Jamie Loftus, Nicholas Campuzano, Holly Loftus, Dillon Loftus, and Brendan Loftus; dear sister of Mary Ann Pardini , Maureen Deletto, and the late Marvin Giles; aunt of many of nieces and nephews.

JACK M. VAN SCOYK
Jack M. Van Scoyk, 99, formerly of Lombard, passed away in Aurora, Colorado, on Feb. 2, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Gertrude (Chummy) Van Scoyk (Anderson).
Jack is survived by his children Michelle (Van Scoyk) Finley and Jeff Van Scoyk and his wife Debra; his grandchildren Scott Finley and his wife Caitlin, Tamara Van Scoyk, Kristin (Van Scoyk) Mandarich and her husband Matt, and Ryan Van Scoyk and his wife Camrenne; and great-grandchildren Ronan, Rory, Cody, Tyler, David, Zoe, Eliza and Katherine.
Jack graduated from Crane Tech High School in 1939 where he was a Cadet Major in the ROTC. He joined the Navy during World War II and was stationed at Navy Pier in Chicago as a Radio Technician. After the war, he worked for Teletype Corporation in Skokie, Illinois, for 40 years as a tool and die maker and manager. Jack lived in Lombard for almost 60 years where he and Gertrude were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Lombard.

RITA S. VRONA
Rita S. Vrona, nee Kenward, age 90, longtime resident of Lombard, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Michael L.; loving mother of David (Kathleen), Mark (Catherine) and Elizabeth; fond grandmother of Michael (Stephanie), Kristin (Brandon), Zachary, Isabel and Adron.
