ELEANOR K. FABER
Eleanor was called home to the Lord January 4, 2021, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Sr. and loving mother of Barbara Keyes, Patricia (James) Greco, Joan (Richard) Janiczek, Janet (Les) Horne and Bob (Alejandra) Faber. Preceding her in death were her siblings, Henry “Bud” Streicher and Delores Peterson. Eleanor was blessed to have nine beautiful grandchildren and seven adorable great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was proud to have written and published “Pebbles: Poems and Writings of Spiritual Inspiration.” She believed in the oneness for everyone. “There is one source of power, God, for all people.”
The family is very grateful for the excellent care she received from the staff at Beacon Hill, Lombard.
A private family service will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

JAMES E. HORNE
James E. Horne, age 71, 45-year resident of Lombard, died January 9, 2020.
Jim was the beloved husband of Pam, nee Omtvedt; loving father of Kristi (Nick) Grace and Brenda Horne (Brian Turnquist); grandfather of Jimmy and Sophie Grace; dear brother and brother-in-law; uncle and great uncle of many.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Memorial Service will take place Saturday, January 16, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lombard, for family only. Friends may view the service on Holy Trinity Lutheran’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCerUgz-J-SyFc1tJbe-ozrA. It will be available for viewing later that day.

DAVID J. ROLLO
David J. “Bud” Rollo, 100, a resident of Lombard, and former resident of Warren, Michigan, died Dec. 22.
David was born on April 21, 1920, in Detroit. He served honorably as a medic in the United State Army Air Force in the North African and European Theatres of World War II.
He is survived by daughters, Peggy Rollo, Kathleen (James) Carson, Jean (Kevin) Robinson; five grandchildren and two great grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Cecilia; daughters Marilyn Hersey and Nancy Haight; parents, James and Rose; brother and sisters, Harold, Grace Scheppler, Lillian Cynowa, and Ethel Hanna.
