Elaine H. Boss nee Holemeyer, age 96, of Wheaton, formerly of Lombard, passed away November 7, 2020.
Visitation will be held, today, Thursday, Nov. 12th from 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard, thence to Christ the King Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Hank L.; loving mother of Kathleen A. (the late Jeffrey) Carter and Gerald “Jerry” (fiancé Karen Foley) of Sycamore; cherished grandmother of Sheri Carter of Lombard, Melissa (Tim) Foley of Belvidere, Robert (Lesia) Boss of Glendale Heights and Jarrett (Theresa) Bunjes of Lombard; dear great-grandmother of Thomas, Colton, Christina, Sophia, and Madison.
Elaine was born in Quincy, IL, and moved to Lombard in 1949. She was married to Hank for 53 years.
Elaine was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Church for 50 years. She was currently a parishioner at Christ the King Church in Lombard.

DOMINICK DEFALCO
Dominick L. DeFalco, age 66, of Lombard, passed away November 4, 2020.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard.
Dominick was the beloved husband of the late Judith nee Albert; loving father of Jennifer (Eric) Pape of Warrenville, Lisa DeFalco- Pena of Lombard, Dominick W. (Kathryn) of Lombard, Stephanie of Lincoln, IL; cherished grandfather of Kayla of Schaumburg, Alyssa of Warrenville, Evie of Lombard, and the late Tyler; dear cousin of Mary (Mike) Hupp of Aurora, Mike (Donna) La Patina of Saxton, IL and Abby Laudato of Marengo.
Dominick grew up in Niles and Lombard. He graduated from Glenbard East in 1973.
Dominick was a member of the Teamsters Union. His parents owned Pizza Palace in Lombard. Dominick was an avid hunter and fisherman.

DONALD HUBBARD
Donald Hubbard, age 98, of Lombard. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Jean Hubbard; loving father of Gail (Wayne) Snider; devoted grandfather of Rachel (Scott) Bledsoe, Esther Snider, Katherine (Thomas) Stevens, and Danielle (Steve) Rose; great-grandfather of Michaela Snider, Brianna and Dylan Bledsoe, Samuel and Michelle Noel, Shaney and Elijah Harlan, and Sabastian, Madison, and Ashton Stevens; great-great grandfather of Javon Raphael Waddy.
In 1942, Don enlisted in the Navy in WWII and served until 1945 in the SEABEES 50th Battalion as a Machinist’s Mate Third Class. He and his wife, Shirley, were married for nearly 72 years (1948). Don graduated from Lane Tech (engineering) and attended Business College for one year. He worked on jet engines at Ford Aircraft in the 1950’s and was an Installer Specialist in floor coverings for decades.
Don loved the Lord with all his heart and was a faithful follower of Christ. He enjoyed encouraging and helping others his entire life. He loved his family and was very proud of them. Don and his wife, Shirley, were members of Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn.

DOROTHY LEY
Dorothy Ley, age 91, of Lombard, died Nov. 8 at her home.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

RICHARD E. MANSFIELD
Richard E. Mansfield was born 12/15/1936 in Chicago, IL and departed this life on 11/4/20 from his residence at Brookdale Independent Living facility in Farmington, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert Emmett Mansfield and mother Pauline Mansfield, and sister Joan Lenzen; and mother of their son, Virginia Collins.
He moved to Iowa and lived there from 8 to 20 years old. He then moved to Chicago to work for United Air Lines as a gate agent and supervisor for 37 years. He built eight houses in Lombard as a general contractor.
He is survived by his son Mike (Relna) and four grandchildren, Marina, Joshua (Carli), David (Paula), Christina (Tiree); eight great grandchildren; three nephews, Joe Lenzen (Barbara), Hank Lenzen (Peggy), Bob Lenzen (Kim); eight great nieces and nephews; and four great-great nieces and nephews.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He was known for his numerous stories and dry sense of humor.
Due to COVID-19 there will be an informal Memorial service in Farmington, Michigan, Nov. 22, for immediate family only.
He was laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Nov. 9.

ANNETTE MUELLER
Annette M. Mueller, age 83, of Lombard, died November 2, 2020, at her home.
Annette was the loving wife of the late Robert; dearest mother of Mark R. (Martha) of Lombard, Laura A. (Daniel) Snyder of Texas and Lynn (the late Paul) Pustelnik of Downers Grove; fond Grandy of Matt (Lyndsey) of Berkeley, Jennie of Westmont, Alyssa of Texas, Kimberly of Lombard, Barrett of Texas, Robert of Michigan, Ryan of Downers Grove, Allison of Downers Grove and James of Downers Grove; great-grandmother of Thomas and Kelly; dear sister of Christopher (Katherine) Koziol of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Annette grew up in Chicago and had been a resident of Lombard and Glen Ellyn for 55 years. She graduated from Alvernia High School in Chicago and attended Alverno College.
Annette was active in the Village Theatre Guild of Glen Ellyn for over 20 years. She retired from the Village of Lombard, where she had worked as a secretary in the Village Planning office.
Annette loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Monday, November 9, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard. Interment followed at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
