There is no substitute for donating blood—especially when it’s Halloween and Dracula (left) makes an appearance to personally thank each person who donated during the Lombard Masonic Lodge #1098 annual blood drive, held at the Medinah Shriners building in Addison Oct. 31. The event, which collected 38 units of blood (saving 114 lives) had a larger than expected turnout.
