Barbara M. Esposito, nee Pike, of Villa Park, passed away recently at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Genaro J. Sr. Loving mother of Genaro J. Jr. (Carmela), Laura (David) DelGado and the late Timothy J. Esposito. Cherished grandmother of Gina, Shannon, Kelly, Norene, Brian, Nicole and Christopher. Great grandmother of 12. Fond sister of Carol Ann (the late Corky) Bergeson. Deborah (the late Thomas) Laurie and the late August Jr. (Alice) Pike. Dear aunt and great aunt of many. Richard L. Litke, of Villa Park, passed away recently at the age of 81. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Beloved husband of Arlene for 57 years. Loving father of Susan Litke Jablonski. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Jablonski. Dear cousin of Sandy (Tom) Wijas. Daa to all the kids in the neighborhood and all of Jennifer’s friends. Services and interment private. WAYNE SUDDARTH
Wayne Suddarth, age 84, of Lombard, passed away September 18, 2020.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, September 24, from 3-9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. Lombard. A Funeral Service will be held Friday September 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Brust Funeral Home. Interment local.
Wayne was the beloved husband of 59 years of Ellen nee Murray; loving father of David Wayne (Kurt) Suddarth of St. Paul, Minn., Trevor Andrew Suddarth of Glen Ellyn, Brendan Michael Suddarth of Chicago, Kathryn (Bruce) Bilgreen of Iron Mountain, Michigan, and Matthew T. Suddarth of Wheaton; fond grandfather of six: Ryan, Ben Hannah, Aaron, Sam and Emma; dear brother of LaDora DeLancy of Schaumburg and the late Bernice, the late Betty, the late Mary and the late Louise. Many other relatives.
Wayne was born in Marseilles, Illinois, and graduated from Marseilles High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Elmhurst College. Wayne served in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957. He had been a resident of Lombard since 1958.
Wayne was the former Cub Master of Troop #42. He was the past Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop #51. Wayne was a past Lincoln School PTA President. He and Tom Wick helped start Lombard YMCA Indian Guides. Wayne was the former Chairman Board of Education Nominating Committee for District #44.
Wayne retired after 25 years from Northrop Grumman in Arlington Heights.
