Janie E. Toedter, of Elmhurst, formerly of Sevierville, Tenn., died on August 20, 2020 at the age of 76. Janie will be missed by her family and friends. Her gorgeous tenor voice would make everyone smile. She was a member of the Choral Society at the University of Tennessee as well as St. John’s Episcopal Church Choir in Knoxville for many years. Janie loved nature, especially when she got to go fishing. She was also an avid artist, working primarily with watercolors. But above all else, Janie loved her family. She is survived by her sister Ellie Kulton; her four nephews Gary (Kim) Kulton, Bill (Robin) Kulton, Jon (Jen) Kulton and Chris (Mary) Kulton; one niece Kim Kulton (Pete Soltesz); eight grandnieces and nephews Ryan & Luke, Sara & Adam, Katie & Chloe, Maddie & Abby. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer & Marie Toedter. Services and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janie’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
