Dorothy L. Schmidtke, nee Argens, a resident of of Elmhurst for more than 50 years, passed away recently at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Alfred; loving mother of Frank D. (Christine Lamb) Schmidtke and the late John P. Schmidtke; cherished grandmother of Kelly K. Schmidtke and Kevin A. Schmidtke; dear daughter of the late Klause and Elise Argens; sister of the late Werner Argens; aunt of many nieces of nephews. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
