MARGA C. NORDMAN
Marga C. Nordman, nee Wangerin, 81, of Lisle, formerly of Villa Park, at rest Dec. 18, 2019. Beloved wife of Ronald for 62 years. Loving mother of Michael (Hazel), Mark (Diane), and Ronny (Fontaine) Nordman. Cherished grandmother of Lyntria, Marga, Victoria, Sarah, Matthew, Joshua, David, Nicholas, Alexander, and Bella. Great grandmother of Amaya, A.J., Emily, and Russell. Loving sister-in-law of Bea and Helen (Bud). Many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. NANCY C. SCHIELKE
Nancy C. Schielke, nee Thomas, of Lombard, formerly of Villa Park, passed away recently at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late LeRoy. Loving mother of Randy (Colleen) and Nancy Schielke. Cherished grandmother of Amber Schielke. Also survived by her beloved canine companion “Sox.” Funeral service was held Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. G.J. ZEMAITIS
G. J. Zemaitis, 1952-2019
He loved beautiful women, beautiful cars, and beautiful guns. He was a deputy sheriff and a newspaper man. When told his cancer was terminal, he lit a cigar and said, “So it goes.”
Born in Canada, he is survived by his wife Regina nee Maleckas, son Paul (Kayla) Zemaitis, and daughter Lauren (Daniel) Flores. Brother of the late Daiva.
G.J. was an avid reader, hunter, and fisherman. In the 1970s, he was the Deputy Sheriff in Routt County, Colorado. He went on to work for the Tribune in the 1990s. Later, G.J. was the Quartermaster for the DuPage County Sheriff.
A wake will be held Friday, December 27, from 4-8 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
