In the Aug. 15th issue, a story appeared about the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot Foundation and the Freedom & Dignity Fest concert featuring Toby Keith that was to be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Schaumburg Boomers baseball stadium.
The story indicated Imagn Events filed for bankruptcy the Wednesday prior to the event. According to the Foundation, they learned of the company’s intent to file for bankruptcy, but not that they had actually filed.
The owners of Imagn Events indicated there was no intent to file bankruptcy and they have not filed. The Independent regrets the error.
