The 14th annual Senior Fair, sponsored by the Village of Lombard Community Relations Committee, was held Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Madison Meadow Athletic Center. The fair also included naming the 2019 Senior Man and Senior Woman of the Year. Pictured (left to right) are Lombard Trustee and committee Chair Dan Militello, Senior Man of the Year Michael “Mickey” Rodgers, Senior Woman of the Year Rita Schneider and Village President Keith Giagnorio. Also nominated were Donald Barg, Thomas Fetters, Audrey Sherman and Rosa Favia. “It makes me so proud to represent such a great village,” commented Militello, who said of the seniors, “We look to you as examples of how to be good neighbors.” See additional photos in this issue of the Lombardian.
